Remembering Dad.

I am James Junior's son. I grew up around VL. He was always wonderful and one of the kindest, friendly, and honorable men I have ever known. I loved him dearly. He was always kind. Honest, and supportive of my family through hard times and good. That is how he will live in my memory and will strive to be as good of a man as he was!

On a trip to Santa Fe, I stopped in Tulsa for a visit. Uncle VL opened the door and greeted me with a grin and a joke. Laughing together set the tone for a wonderful visit. Will always remember his smiles.

VL was a lovely man. Generous and kind. I am proud to have known him. May his memory be a blessing.

Dad was the best. Always a source of good advice and support. And endless unwavering love. He was a very patient teacher. We laughed at the same things. He could be very silly and fun. I still think of him every time I watch Rocky and Bullwinkle.
