Vladimir was one of the most wonderful friends anyone could have. We had many wonderful times together and shared many jokes. I am blessed with two of his paintings and a day doesn't go by that I don't look at them and think of my friend. Many of you remember Vladimir playing piano at my home during the Super Bowl parties. To say he was a talented man is an understatement.......My love and prayers go out to his loved ones. You will be ABSOLUTELY be missed partner.

I'm sorry to say that I had not seen Vladimir in a couple of years and the last I spoke with him, he was winning his battle. So to say that I was shocked when I heard this on Tuesday is a complete understatement.
I would like to say that I knew Vladimir not only as a multi-talented artist, but as a genuine compassionate person and friend. Vladimir worked hard and played hard. He was so much fun to be around that people always congregated around him. I feel that it was a privilege...

Vladimir was as gentle and fine a person as one could ever wish to know. His sense of friendship was profound and his talent unlimited. He could play classic piano with ease and bravado and paint portraits worthy of display in the great museums of the world. I was honored to call him my friend. I am blessed to have some of his work which will remind me through my days what a joy it was to have known him. I could swear that today I caught my portrait with a tear in its eyes.

It is with deep regret that I learn about the death of my friend Vladimir. The years and work demands separated us, but my regard for Vladimir as a dear and trusted friend as well as my respect for his accomplishments in the art world are profound. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to know Vladimir and I am honored to have called him my friend. He offered so much and asked for nothing. I have nothing but respect and admiration for Vladimir. He was a great man, loved by all who...
