Voula Moskos CHARLESTON - Voula Soufas Moskos, 89, of Charleston, the devoted widow of Marko Jerry Moskos, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 31, 2011. Ms. Moskos was born in Wilson, NC on December 4, 1921, the daughter of the late Christ and Glikeria (Mischou) Soufas. A graduate of Atlantic Christian College, she was a 3rd Grade Teacher in Micro, NC, prior to her marriage. Ms. Moskos will be remembered as a wonderful homemaker, a great cook and a loving mother to her children who survive her, Stella Moskos of Charleston, SC; Carol Moskos of Charleston, SC and Chris Moskos of Charleston, SC. She is also survived by a brother, Charles C. Soufas of Columbia, SC and many loving nieces and nephews. The relatives and friends of Voula S. Moskos are invited to attend her Funeral Service at Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, Charleston, SC, at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 3, 2011. The burial will be held in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity with the Trisagion at 6:00 pm. Family request donations to Greek Orthodox Church of Holy Trinity, Endowment Fund 30 Race St. Charleston, SC 29403. Arrangements are by the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Hwy.
