W. Frank Anders

I'm sorry for your loss. I was not able to go up for the services, my mother did attend. Frank was an inspiration to me, a fellow artist in the same family. He will be missed.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. I'm sending a hug your way from Sweden and praying for you, your Mom and siblings. Ron and I have very warm thoughts of your Dad. We always think of him when we see somebody shooting a bow and arrow. May the warm memories of your Dad lift your spirits.

I remember one time while Ken, Daniele and I along with extended family were at Uncle Joe's cottage for a weeks vacation(1984ish) and Uncle Frank and family joined us for a day of fun. I had prepared homemade spaghetti sauce that we all ate for supper. Uncle Frank especially enjoyed it and had me describe in detail how I had made it. He sure made me feel like a gourmet cook.

My memories of my Brother-in-Law include many happy family celebrations. I would always get a chuckle when he called me "Jeno". I enjoyed reading the books he had published. He was a great Brother-in-Law.

Every visit to Uncle Frank's house always included a smile and a laugh. I remember being young and stupid and once visiting Uncle Frank to pick up some graphic arts tape. I was experimenting with new hairstyles and must have looked ridiculous; I had curlers in my hair! Instead of telling me how silly I looked he said, "Here comes Cousin Ken in one of his many disguises." Uncle Frank will be missed greatly, but his stories and memories will live on forever.

This note is from John Solowski. I know he would like to be in Rochester for Franks service but he is unable. We talked about Frank on the phone this morning. John has many happy stories about Frank, Rochester and growing up in Polish Town. I only met Frank a few times but enjoyed talking with him and John. I enjoyed his book on the Polish-Americans in Rochester. I grow up in the Polish community in Syracuse, NY. May God be with Frank and all of you. Amen

Words can not express our sorrow at the passing of (Uncle) Frank. Please know that you are in our prayers and that God will give you the strength to get through this. Just remember, he is out of pain and is in heaven with his mother, father, and brothers and sister. May that give you comfort in the days ahead. Skeezix, you were a wonderful brother and I will miss you deeply. Karol Anders and Bonnie
