Not sure what to say?

It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of this brilliant man. His incredible family is a living legacy to this very gifted man.

My sincere condolences to the Conn family.

On behalf of the Santa Maria-Lompoc NAACP, we offer our deepest condolences. I was so sorry to hear about David who was indeed a wonderful human being, very intelligent, and humble and was leading and guiding us as our 5 Cities Diversity Coalition Chair. Thank you family for sharing him with us. I know he will forever live in your hearts and he will ours'.

I enjoyed working with David at Cal Poly. He was always looking for the right answer, not necessarily the easy one, to the issues we discussed regarding student petitions, curriculum, or any topic that came up. My husband, Wright, and I send our condolences to his sweetheart, Judith, and the family. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Shalom!

I first met David at the PBAC gym in body pump classes taught by his daughter Danya. We would often discuss Pismo politics when we would meet outside of the gym. David was a strong advocate for a "better Pismo Beach" and stood up with us at the podium when we felt we needed a stronger voice on an important issue facing the city. His deliveries were eloquent and polished, and always with an element of common sense. My heart-felt condolences go out to his family and his friends at Cal Poly and...

David was an inspiration to work with. All are better off for having known him.

My heart goes out to David's family. I'm very saddened to learn of his passing. He was an amazing, wonderful man & I feel very fortunate to have worked with him at Cal Poly.

I was very saddened to learn of David's untimely death. He had so much more to offer to his family, friends, colleagues and community. My heart goes out to his family. You were the center of his life. He was a good colleague and friend to me.

Sending my support to all the family and friends ,
