Soror Fran was a role model, mentor and friend to many.

Toni, I enjoyed our conversation and the similarities in our lives.

God bless!

Dear Family of Fran Deckard:
I pray that God's abiding love will comfort you and heal your grief.
I have many fond thoughts of Fran from Willow Run Community Schools and after she "retired".
We shared a liking for grapes and raspberries. When she thought they were ripe, she'd call to see if we had any to share. She'd be over real fast if we had a raspberry surplus.
She was also a respected teacher and I surely will miss her.

When I think of Ms. Deckard, I think of strength, dedication, excellence and a woman of true integrity. She didn't compromise and stood firm on what she believed. She esteemed her students to be the very best and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to be educated by an extraordinary woman. I will miss her stopping by my office to chat, as she'd take her daily walk. She left her footprints in the lives of so many. Class of 91

If it wasn't for you Ms. Deckard I wouldn't be where I am today. May God Bless your family. Your spirit will always live on.

Founders' Day 2005
