Not sure what to say?

Deepest sympathy to the Duthie Family.
David was special and treated my late husband and myself as well as our entire family as family to him. He was a joy to know and will be sadly missed.

On behalf of my entire family which includes Caroline Palmer, Mikie & Choc Edwards, Me and my wife, Joyce Nancy & Jessie Clark , we want to say how much we apprieciated David and all he did for Lambertville with the Yellow Brick Toad. We along with many of our Children helped David when he was fixing up the resturant that was to become a focal point and meeting place to eat good food, enjoy fine atmosphere and be entertained by a Host of the magnitude of David Duthie. We will open a fine...

We've know David 14 years and will miss him dearly, just as we miss his Toad. He really had life figured out and always made one feel happier and comfortable in his company. We're better people for having know him. Our best to Little David, Holly, Kristin and all his loved ones.

David's memory always brings a smile and a laugh. The times we spent together and the wisdom he imparted will always be with me and help guide me along my journey in life. Thank you David for being David. Love, Jay.

You could say I grew up at "The Toad". I went there for my 19th Birthday with my family for dinner, then downstairs after. And my sisters and I continued for several more years. I always remember David having a smile on his face and always being so charming. He was, and always will be someone special in my life. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I worked at the Toad during college and was thrilled to have my wedding there in 1999. David was always a joy to work with and I'm truly sorry to learn of his death. He was warm, kind, creative and generous, and I'm sure he'll be missed terribly by all sorts of people whose lives he touched.

David has filled our hearts with so many wonderful memories that I cannot help but cry and smile ... both at the same time.
I would like to send all my love and support to his wife, Kristin; his children, Holly and David (L.D.); and to his sister, Nancy.

Dave was my "big brother" and is near and dear to my heart. We spent time together by Abey's pond discussing all the mysteries of life and the world. Though I moved from Pennington years ago, I would often visit Dave at the Toad. As a fellow sailor, I'm so very glad he got to realize part of his dream. I will open my best bottle of wine to celebrate his life. My most sincere condolences to his family on their loss.

Thanks to everyone who reads and adds to this guest book. We wanted to let you know that the family is keeping an eye on it and will read your words.

There will be a gathering on Saturday in Doylestown for family and friends; if you'd like to come, contact my brother for details.

Thanks again for all your words of comfort.

Holly
