W. Donald Kreamer

One of my favourite photos of my grandfather (Papa) is of he and my grandmother (Nana) wearing matching pink polo shirts and blue jeans. I like this photo for various reasons, but one in particular is because it illustrates how conjoined they were as a couple; they belonged together.

After Nana died, whenever I spoke with Papa on the phone, he never failed to tell me how much he missed her and how fundamental her loss was to him.
