I had the privilege of working with Howard in commercial real estate in the 80's in Los Angeles. At the time he was expanding WS and I was an intern. I remember what a zest for life he had and such a visionary. He would talk about his trips to Europe and what he was working on. Such an inspirational human being. Low key...he never forgot where he came from. I learned so much from Howard and would not be doing what I am today if it wasn't for his being such a visionary.

I am not sure you will receive this message.. I just got home from a trip and saw the wonderful picture of Howard in the Cronicle..I did not know of his illness and was very shocked to see article in the Cronicle..
I hope you will recover from this soon , as I know and remember your love for him..
I remember after a big hat appointment you mentioning s very special person,,He was and you are. He was definitely special as I am sure all your moments with him...
