Not sure what to say?

A classy gentleman both on and off the field and a great friend and colleague. We had great times and memories on the scouting trail. A true professional always looking to develop and perpetuate baseball at all levels. Sorely missed.

Ben McClure - One of a very small handful of baseball savvy individuals in our area. May he rest in peace.

Ben and I used to eat lunch together in the stands above the gym on Butler High. He was a one of the good guys. Dave Zinn

Ben was a good friend and I will think of him every time I go to the Soda Jerk or a Lower Dauphin game. He had a great sense of humor and could spin baseball yarns for hours but was also a very thoughtful and caring person. Time spent with Ben was time well spent. Rest in peace my friend.

Remembering a great high school friend, baseball teammate and sports manager at Butler High. Many good times attending sporting events together in western PA . Fond times will not be forgotten. RIP, Ben!

Ben was a wonderful man and great coworker. May he rest in peace.

I enjoyed Ben's sense of humor on many occasions. My favorite was Ben offering one his high school players a "left handed John Havicek catcher mitt" for doing a good job.

I can say Ben changed the course of my life back in 1998 when he took a chance and convinced the Blue Jays to draft me as a pitcher, a position I only played briefly in college. I'll never forget Ben sitting in my house with my family having me sign my first professional contract. Thanks Ben and you will never be forgotten. Bob

Always a great guy to be around and full of fun stories to tell. Helped to coach Lower Dauphin to its first ever baseball championship.
