Not sure what to say?

He was a father to me and I´m so grateful to him for his kindness.

My sister Doey and I agree that Edie and Curt Montz, dear friends of our parents, provided us fine adult role models. Smart, kind and funny. All of us Sgarlats are grateful to have grown up with them.

Knowing Mr Montz was a treat. He was so smart, so funny, so much fun to talk to

TRIBUTE ON THE PASSING OF A VERY REAL PERSON
Author Unknown
People are of two kinds, and he
Was the kind I'd like to be.
Some preach their virtues, and a few
Express their lives by what they do;
That sort was he. No flowery phrase
Or glibly spoken word of praise
Won friends for her. He wasn't cheap
Or shallow, but his course ran deep.
And it was pure. You know the kind.
Not many in...

A wonderful man and who can argue with 101! My sympathies go out to the Montz family – particularly Mrs. Montz who would respond to many questions – “I don't know, ask Curtis”

A true steward of valley history and customs that will be missed.

A fine man who lived a rich life. Our kind thoughts and prayers go out to the Montz Family. He will be missed.

Dear Edie, Our thoughts & prayers are with you. We have some fond memories of some bridge games with Curt. Fondly, Millie & Dick Hogoboom

My deepest sympathy to the Montz family. My father worked with Mr, Montz at Fowler Dick and Walker for many years and I worked with him as a teen-ager at the store. He has been a good friend for more than 60 years and a gentleman who was always impeccably dressed. He will be greatly missed.
