Not sure what to say?

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Pope's passing. He was such a fine and dear person. I have such wonderful memories of him and the entire Pope family from your years in Louisville. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Fondly, Cathy Sommer Dahlem

Our condolences to Joyce and family. Nick was a colleague and friend ever since my days in Ohio. Carol and I remember him fondly and the fact he gave our daughter one of her first toys (which she still has) when she was born 24 years ago. Philip Berwick & Carol Fichtelman, St. Louis

I always looked forward to seeing Nick at the law librarian conferences. I knew he would make me laugh with his wonderful stories, and catching up on family news was always a joy. It was especially wonderful to see Nick and Joyce together at meetings. He will be missed. My thoughts are with the entire family.

Dave and I send our deepest sympathies. We remember Nick from the UK game watching parties at the Flat Iron! We loved getting to know Nick through the UK functions!

Nick was such a kind person. When I was a young person he was able to help me take away some of the fears that I had. I never forget the time that Nick and Joyce took me to the movies. It was a special treat for me. May Christ bless the family with peace at this time.

May the love of God and your faith in His presence comfort you and sustain you during this very sad time.

Much love,

As a classmate, friend and colleague, I remember Nick for his contageous laugh, his zest for life, his devotion to family, and his intense love for all things Kentucky. It is with deep sympathy that I mourn his passing.
