Not sure what to say?

Truly an Amazing Man......My Dean at the Robins School....I am thankful for the privilege of knowing him. He was, indeed, my mentor, giving me an opportunity when I needed one. I am forever grateful to Dr. W. David Robins.

I owe Dr Daid W Robbins more than I would ever be able to repay I knew him to be humble, accomplished, quiet, with great leadership abilities

One to be admired....professional....caring...supportive..... a friend to student and staff alike...

I´m glad that I have lived long enough to add: Dr Robins believed in me...... a student who had a rocky academic past but who became grounded by a Marine Corps experience, an academic opportunity in a Junior College, and motivation by acceptance by Dr Robins.

Thanks so much for all your stories, kind words and prayers. Many of the stories about my father are laugh-out-loud funny, and that’s been a great comfort over the past week.

Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at 4:00 p.m., my family and I laid my fathers ashes to rest in the Columbarium at the University of Richmond. The Chaplain, Jim Adams with Odyssey, (Hospice), presided. It’s true what they say about Hospice. They really are angels. We held hands in prayer.
The forecast for...

My deepest sympathy goes to the family and friends of my friend and Dean, Dr. W. David Robbins. May he enjoy the glory of being with our Savior in Heaven.

We of the Class of 1969 were very blessed to have Dr. Robbins as a professor and mentor. I appreciate more today what a wonderful experience UR and the SBA were for me. My son and I visited the campus this past week and I was proud to have gone there and to show him what a fine place it was and is today.

We have lost a wonderful friend, teacher and mentor. Truly one of a kind and an inspiration to all of us fortunate enough to know him and be his students. However, I do know I will be seeing him again as he had accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord. A man wise in everything!

Our prayers are with you Ruth and the family as we know Dave will be missed. It was an honor to have known Dr. Robins as a leader, educator and friend. Today we celebrate life and all that he added to it. Our fond memories will be here always.
