Not sure what to say?

I just heard about Alex.
I had been talking about Alex on my radio program one afternoon during June. I was introducing 2nd Chapter of Acts' "Which Way The Wind Blows" and telling this story.
The first time I heard the song was on a Sunday evening in September 1974.
Alex was driving me to the beach to be water baptized. Rick Hlubeck was playing the song as part of his radio program. Alex turned it louder as we drove quietly resting in its poetic reality.
The song was...

Alex was my friend and brother. No matter how many years passed and no matter what happened Alex was my friend and brother. When I came back home, Alex was one of a few who welcomed me back with open arms and heart. That meant more to me than words can express. I will miss him as will all who knew him. My prayers are with his family and friends.

I am speachless. I didnt even know this was here until now. Just wanted you all to know I am here and am touched deeply by this. There are so many things I would like to say and words seem pointless. Three come to mind though; Friendship, Love, and Life Everlasting. Thank you all for being our friends, I love you all, and may we all live in the everlasting.

As a young woman, I looked up to Alex as a Man of God who showed such enthusiasm and passion through his faith. Life took many of us on different paths, but I will always remember Alex as a believer.

The loss of a parent is such a grievous thing, but it is also very unsettling. It leaves you feeling "unanchored" to some extent. That feeling will pass, though, as you wake up each day and look into the eyes of your wife and child. Be blessed with the knowledge that this separation...

Beloved Family of Our Precious Brother and all thoses that were Blessed to know our good friend Alex, I am so thankfull that I had the opportunity to share small parts and pieces of the life of Alex's Life. since early Spring of 1975. Alex was the most supernaturally gifted Bible teacher i have ever heard. He had such a creative way of expressing Himself and His Love for Jesus. I will miss Him. Alex tell Jesus Hi for me will ya. I will end with a Quote from one of the lyrics of a song i wrote...

Alex Roche' was more than a friend & closer than a brother to me. It was only with Alex that I could find true fellowship for he alone knew the passionate, relentless, aggressive, pursuit of God to have a deep, personal, & intimate relationship with us in spite of our many flaws and failures. The times spent with Alex were a divine gift that I will forever cherish. I shall look forward to our joyful reunion!

To Alex's family,

I admired Alex for his enthusiasm, creativity and concern for others. May the Lord comfort you in your loss.

Alex and Family, your Dad introduced me to you one time when you visited him at Medtronic Xomed and I remember how much you look like him. Your Dad was a very special gifted man of the Lord and such a sweet brother to me. The world is a better place for his being here. I know that he is with his Jesus now. May the Holy Spirit give you and your family comfort in the coming days. God bless you.

Xan,
Be at peace knowing your father is in heaven with the one to which he gave his life. I had the pleasure of shared time with Alex in one of his favorite places doing what he loved, fishing at Huegnot Memorial Park. Alex was a true fisher of men! God bless you and your family.
