W. Nelson Wainwright

RIP Nelson. Sorry to see you go. You were a shining light.

From junior high through our senior year, Nelson's natural friendliness, sense of humor, and sharp mind put him in a class by himself.

Leslie, I am so very sorry to hear this news of Nelson´s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Nelson was such a special individual who truly enjoyed life and will be missed by many.

Nelson was the best. Brains, humor, good will toward other. Met in 7th grade, always good to me.

What a shock to hear of Nelson´s passing. We shared class of 1965 together, and Leslie is an old friend. Imagining them without one another never enered my mind. Leslie, anything you might need in these trying times I´d be happy to help out, or just listen. Maybe, one of these days you could tell about yours and Nelson´s wonderful many trips.

Wow! I am so sorry to hear of this and Leslie our hearts go out to you and the whole family. Nelson, Gary Von Der Heide, and I were the trio from KHS who went to Purdue and were Sigma Chi Fraternity brothers and housemates for 4 years. We shared so many experiences together and remained friends ever since. He was a great guy and a great friend. He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. Tom "TJ" Friel

So sorry to hear of Nelson´s passing. He was a truly great guy-kind, warm, and always a pleasure to be around. I have many fond memories of Nelson from holiday gatherings over the years. My heart goes out to Leslie and the entire family. He will be deeply missed.
