Not sure what to say?

Mr. Boldin was my supervisor at the State Penitentiary in Richmond when I was a probation and parole officer trainee from 1970 to 1971. Mr. Boldin was the perfect role model for me to emulate as a professional and a human being. He was a man of integrity who I have always respected. He was only in my life for a short while, but he helped lay the foundation for my professional career. I just wanted to know that he was a very special man.

To Ernest's family--

Ed and I want to extend our deepest sympathies to you. He will be greatly missed. I shall always remember singing in choir with him at Christ Lutheran.

Ed and Mary Alice Wiles

Ernie was the best boss I ever had. Full of compassion, he made our Turner Road office feel like home. I loved him dearly. I remember how relaxed he looked after he retired from DOC. I think of him often and will never forget him. He was one of a kind, with "kind" being the important word to describe him.

To Mr. Boldin's family,
I had the privilege of working with Mr. Boldin in the Department of Corrections. He was a nice and a professional person. My thoughts and prayers are with you for your loss.
