Not sure what to say?

Still missing our phone calls. Such a nice uncle, and all around person. We miss you Uncle Carl !

I was saddened to hear that you passed but happy that the pain you experienced is gone, you are healed in the presence of the Lord Jesus. It was short, but I learned a lot from you while serving with you in Southgate, Mi. My deepest condolences to Glenda and the rest of the family.

Words are not enough to express the love I have for this man. He was a major reason I am who I am today. His Love along with his family, to my parents and my family, was greatly appreciated. I know, he is celebrating in heaven today with my parents. His memory will always be in my heart. We are sorry we were not there to celebrate his passing. Love to you ALL!

Our prayers are with you during this sad time. He was a wonderful man.

We'll miss you Uncle Carl. I looked forward to each phone call, but we know you're with Jesus, and we'll see you again someday. May you Rest in Peace in our Savior's arms. You were a great uncle!! Until we see you at the river... Joanne, Karl, Amanda, Joey and Charlie.

Rev. Jones was our "2nd Pastor" and friend all of our family life spent in Detroit. We lived closer to his Wesleyan church on Burt Rd. but never attended (of which he reminded us often in his style of kidding!). As a kid I was at their house often, with Jeff as a friend. We often attended special events at their church. He has been a tremendous friend of our family over the years, and Carl spoke at my dad's funeral six years ago. We wish we could be there in return... He was a man of...

He was a wonderful man of God. So kind and a real friend. We were privileged to stay in their home and enjoyed being with him and Glenda so much. He will be missed by our family. Carl and Glenda were like family to us.
