Not sure what to say?

Dear Jenola and Family,

I am deeply saddened at the loss of my friend and mentor. Frank hired me on August 4, 1980 at IBM and I have had the good fortune to continue my employment there today. After 30+ years I am still amazed at the opportunities I have had because Frank took a chance on a young girl who could barely type at the time. He set the standard by which I measured all future managers and IBM employees and set the example for how I wanted to conduct myself.

It was with great sadness that i learned about Franks passing today.May God be with Jenola and his family at this time .Frank was a gentleman of the first order. He probably is the only administration manager i ever knew in IBM that i didnt cross swords with.He had the ability to understand the different functions of sales, service, administration, system engineering etc and showed great respect for everyones efforts. We returned that respect both for him and for his people.I think another measure...

Frank is the reason I live in Louisiana. I came as one of his managers in 1985. Barbara Boggs and I drove him crazy. He was a wonderful person and great boss. My deepest sympathy to the family.

Jenola,
Sorry to hear of your loss. You and your family are in my prayers.

Jenola and the Duke Family,

Frank was my boss but more than that, he was my friend. From the day he hired me on April 1, 1962, I can't think of a single situation where we had an argument or ill feeling toward each other.

I am going to miss the lunches and fishing trips with Frank, Charlie and Bob. We had great fun during these times. We talked about a lot of people and solved many of the world's problems.

Jenola, I want you to know that our thoughts and...

Jenola and family - I first met Frank in 1968 when I went to work for IBM. There was simply no one like him. Everyone who knew him loved him. Although we did not "touch bases" as often as we should have, each time we did get together it was as though it had just been days instead of years. All the cuttings he gave me on my last visit with both of you are, amazingly, thriving in my arid Texas garden. Maybe....maybe not so amazingly, as they were given with love by Frank. He was a true...

I had the wonderful opportunity to work for Frank from 1978-1983. Frank was the best IBM manager that I worked for in my 35 years of service with IBM. Jenola, Michael, Amy and Keith, I am deeply saddened with Frank's passing. Frank was one of the kindest, most sincere men I have ever known. Ron Owen, Arlington, TX

Jenola and Family,

Bill and I will be keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers. We are so grateful that Joy let us know Frank's condition a few weeks ago so that we could be praying for all of you. It has been many years since we've seen you and Frank, but we have such fond memories of our times together back in the early 70's when we lived in Baton Rouge and Bill worked for IBM. We pray you will feel God's Presence in this time of loss. Always, Sarah and Bill McCall

When Gerald and I started dating (way back when), Frank and Jenola had just started dating, so we did lots of "double dates". Then both couples married and the babies came. When Gerald went to IBM to tell everyone we were pregnant with Michelle, Frank owned up that they were pregnant also (Micheal). Then, Frank and Jenola talked us into joining BUMC, so all of these years our families were close friends. In retirement years, (after IBM) Gerald and Frank started fishing together, and...
