Not sure what to say?

It's been 16 years. Brittany and Zac's kids are growing up well and they are a great pair of parent's. I'm trying to follow your example by giving them advice when they ask and the freedom to make their own choice. I was reading through the words family wrote and was crying. I just can't write the words about the gap you and Mom left in our lives. More like a canyon. I didn't realize how big of a footprint you left. Sandra and I will be watching a program and I'll use the line you used to...

Dear Grandpa,

You have brought so much joy and laughter to everyone around you. You have always had the ability to make people laugh and bring a smile to someone's face. I think that's a great quality to have and you will be missed dearly. A lot of my memories of you are when Shaun and I came to visit the farm. Those are some very dear and fond memories that I will always keep close to me. Your way of life brings out the true kid in everyone. Being able to run around the farm till...

I was so sorry to hear of your loss from my friend in Mulvane. My heart goes out to you and all the kids...we will keep you and the family in our thoughts and prayers.

Grandpa~
You mean the world to me. Where ever I go you will always be with me, in my heart.
I will miss everything about you, but what I will miss the most are the jokes we shared & the way we laughed together. I can still hear your laugh and I can't help but smile.
I remember when I was little you came down to the farm everyday. Mom & Dad said they were afraid I would start calling YOU Dad.
They told me you were so proud I was your granddaughter, well,...

Dear Rod,

As I was sitting in church yesterday listening to everyone talk about your life, I started to reflect on my own memories of you and life on the farm. At harvest time friends and family coming together to lend a hand, enjoying Dolly's home cooking when it was time to eat and at the end of the day having a cold Bud and listening to your stories.

Even though those days have past your examples of hard work, determination and dependability will always be an...

Dear Susan and Family,

I read in the paper this AM of the loss of your dad. I was so sorry to hear this. I want you to know you are all in my prayers and I will be thinking of you.

Much Love And Care:

Dolly,
I don't know if you remember me, but I'm Sandra's little sister. I can not imagine the loss you have experienced, but please know that you and your whole family are in my thoughts and prayers. Time does heal all but there will always be tender moments.

Dale, my heart goes out to you. There are no comforting words, but I do know how you feel. Don't not talk about Rod, he will live on through your daily memories and conversations.

May your family know...

Dear Dolly and family:
We were sorry to hear of Rod's death. Though we have not seen the two of you for a while, we do remember the times together during Sumner Cowley Electric Coop meetings. Rod was such a sharp wit and he made life interesting. May you and family be comforted in knowing that Rod is at peace now. God be with you during this time and continue to watch over you.

Dear Dale and Family,

I was sincerely sorry to hear about your Dad, but from having spoken to you about him I know he is in a better place. Thinking back since 1985 or 1986 I've heard you mention your Dad many times.

Dale just remember - his body is only asleep today to be resurrected FIRST AT THE SECOND COMING TO MEET THE LORD, FAMILY AND FRIENDS IN THE AIR, BUT NOT TO BE FORGOTTEN - HIS SOUL IS STILL ALIVE TODAY WITH THE LORD - REMEMBER - THE SECOND COMING IS...
