Not sure what to say?

Michael and Peter and families. I just heard of your dad's passing. I am so sorry. He was a wonderful person and I know he will be greatly missed. I was 19 when I started working for him, that were great times and always felt included as the company grew. Your dad has and will always have a special spot in my heart, he was a very kind person. I learned so much the 16 years I worked there. Again I am so sorry for your loss.- Marie Egan Calandra

I was introduced to Peter by the Reverend Charles Brackbill in the early 2000's. We were just starting the Old First Historic Trust, Mr.metz had become the first treasurer and I the secretary and Elder representing First church. From the first moment we met Peter demonstrated to me a great caring and support. We at First Church Elizabeth and the OFHT shall miss him very much. Our deepest condolences to the Metz family. Rafael Rodriguez

My sincere condolences to the family of Mr. Metz, his contribution to the community, especially Greater Plainfield Habitat for Humanity are greatly appreciated.

Peter Metz hired me in 1979. When I first walked in the door I was amazed that the owner was right there on the floor alongside all of us. It was amazing how good this company operated.
Peter Mets recently came into the plant about a month ago and it was just such an honor to see him . I am very proud to say I worked for Metz Metallurgical God bless Peter Metz.

I worked with Peter in NJ back in 1986/1987 and found Peter to be an outstanding engineer as well as a great person. Peter had a unique way of understanding problems and quickly finding ways to fix them. As a person, he was genuine. He knew the value of people and EVERYONE had a great level of respect for him. A man not easiliy forgotten! God Bless Peter and his entire family!

As an employee of the Metz Metallurgical Corporation "family" begining in 1978, I look back on those days with emience pride and satisfaction...and often wonder... as I recall the amazing growth of a company that I witnessed firsthand grow from 78 employees when I started at 21 years of age, my first job arriving straight out of the Army, to a corporation of over 200 employees by 1986. I am so proud to have been a part of that period and of what Peter created. He was truly amazing.

Always the gentleman, he was an inspiration. God bless you.
