To the family of Dr. Muir,
As just a very young child I remember meeting Dr. Muir. My aunt was married to his brother Nelson. It was just a brief meeting but I remember him as a distinquished, friendly and warm man. I know he took time to talk to me, I believe it was at Nelson's house in Elmira, NY.

What can we say? You said it all. Just seeing his face in the paper brought a smile to our faces! We are sad to know Doug is no longer with us. But the memories of all that we learned from him, the friendliness with which he approached us, and the superb care he always gave us will never be forgotten. Hugs to you all.
