Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Pfleeger,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Your husband was a great man. His enthusiasm and dedication left a tremendous impression on me (and thousands of others)who had the honor of having him as a teacher. Words can't express the profound respect I had for him. His teaching will have a lasting influence on those who were fortunate enough to take advantage of his skill, knowledge and talent. I am eternally grateful for the opportunity.

Dear Lucille,
Bob & I lived across the street from you in Parke Place. I remember helping you try to get Clarke into the house and we had to call 911? I'm so short & Clarke so tall and he was able to sit up against me so you could make the call. A policewoman (small too) had to call for help. We laughed & Clarke was so remarkable taking it all in stride. He got a chuckle out of it. I'll always remember a wonderful, loving, giving, couple who I admire. Lucille, you were Clarke's Angel....

To the Pfleeger Family:

With the passing of Clarke, the world has lost a great man, and I, a great friend. Clarke Pfleeger was the soul of the Glassboro State College Music Department. He fought gallantly and courageously for anything he believed in, and more than anyone else, was responsible for the erection of the Wilson Music Center. He encouraged and inspired generations of students who enjoyed his...

My Dear Mrs. Pfleeger, I send my heart felt wishes and love to you and your family at this time. I will remember you in my prayers. You and your husband have touched more lives than you will ever know. You certainly touched mine as a child and it is a joy whenever I see you round and about. I wish my son had an opportunity to experience you as I have. signed, Roxanne Ghee-Jones of Glassboro

My deepest sympathy to Lucile and her entire family. I remember meeting Clarke at my first NOW meeting about 10 years ago. He always had a warm and welcoming smile and a kind word.

Although there were several times over the years I had wonderful discussions with both Clarke and Lucile, I recall one night in particular. It was at a "night of parties" fundraiser at a members home in Haddonfield. I believe it was for Rainbow House. Again we were raising money for important human...
