Not sure what to say?

Wade with my daughter Kayla. He was great with all kids.

As the years go by, I can only dream what life would be like if you were still in it. If only I could have been a better friend. I was unable to grant your last request. That still weighs on my mind. The suffering. The pain. Nothing about your illness & death is pleasant.

Far to young. So little life lived. You tried, oh man you tried. We both did. If one can look beyond your end & see the moments before cancer, one will smile. I know I do.

You touched so many people, me...

Wade and Deanna,

It seems that after 18 years, we have evidence of what has made so many of us Gulf War veterans so very ill.

Last week I testified on behalf of GW veterans and I reminded everyone there of your sacrifice. Not with your name did I remind them, but by your courageous and selfless choices.

We will make certain your death wasn't in vain, Wade.

Two years yesterday.....it's still fresh in my memory like it WAS yesterday! Yesterday went by with some thoughts of 2 years ago, but I pushed them away & stayed busy with work. I concentrated on moving forward. Something that has been hard to do these last 2 years, but this year......this year I believe I can finally achieve just that! I believe that an order to move forward, I must face the past head on. My plan? Write the book that Wade didn't want me to write while he was dying. I...

Deanna,
There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you all.
Love Ya Lots

Allie says a dinner prayer every night for you Wade. She says this: "Dear Jesus, please bring my daddy back home so I can be happy again. Thank you for this food. Amen." Breaks my heart when she prays like that! I don't know how to help her. You are never far from her heart and mind! She remembers all the good times you 2 shared but rarely remembers the disciplined times. You are still her hero & probably always will be. I will admit, there are days that I feel the same as she does. ...
