My family was sad to heat of Hamp's passing. Our prayers are with the family. I have many happy memories of the homeplace in Mineral Springs. Us kids trampled thru his yard every time it snowed to slide down that "super giant hill" in his yard. Hamp, like his parents, was a very good person. He will be missed by many. Susan

What a treasure to know and love this man. He always made you feel so special . A true southern gentleman with a keen sense of humor, a joy for life and fun but a kind soul that always made time to listen and care. Hamp and Sherrie made room in the very large extended family for my son and myself. I treasure the honor of taking this journey called life and counting Hamp a true and dear friend. Rest In Peace dear friend and know you will live on as a part of all of us that love you so!!

Hamp was one of the most remarkable people I've ever known in my life. To call him family was an honor. I love him and will never quite be the same without him. Thank you for your guidance, patience, and thoughtfulness, Hamp. I never took it for granted. Thank you for helping make such a large part of the wonderful family I consider the most important gift in my life.
(Looking forward to carrying on the tradition of the "prairie dog in the cage" gag that brought a smile to his face...

We were very saddened by the news of Hamp's passing. We got to know Hamp during our 18 years in the Beulah area. He was a wonderful person and a true southern gentleman. We enjoyed our time spent with him and Sherrie and are so blessed to have known him. Sending prayers and love across the miles to Sherrie and the rest of his family.
