The best memroies I have of granddad are the BBQ's at his house with great grandma Lorick and the gang... Also the summer Kessie and I stayed with granddad. Mom dropped us off as teens and we thought we would be so bored out in the county. It was the best summer ever! My fondest memory of Granddaddy was when he picked me up from my first job during my lunch break and let me drive his hot rod Corvette up and down Hwy 1. I don't know what made my heart race more, the fact that I was a 16 year old driving an awesome Corvette or the fact that he would surely kill me if I wrecked it.
