I´m a Native American from Oklahoma, and Wade Montgomerys music and storytelling is a huge inspiration, considering that I´m trying write music myself, his songs and guitar playing will always be remembered

Wade and I were best friends until I was 6 years old. We had the best of times back in Rosebud. I recall on Halloween smearing our faces with grease and sprinkling coffee grounds on our mugs so we could be bum cowboys. As expressed elsewhere, this was a real kick in the heart. We were childhood friends who only stayed in contact between long gaps of time. My heart goes out to the family.

Wade wrote some terrific songs. I'm sorry he passed too soon. My condolences to all who knew and loved him.
