Not sure what to say?

As the mother of Wade's two children, Cody and Randi, I would like to express my condolences to Marshall, Mary and Melinda.
May God's grace bring you comfort in the coming years.

To all that knew Wade, he was, to say the least, a gregarious personality. The years I spent with Wade were both joyous and challenging, but after our divorce I took raising our children seriously, and that shows, and he was very proud of them and their accomplishments. I am very proud of our daughter...

I am writing this as I sit in my office, recalling to mind the memories of Wade and I in our youth. How the world seemed so big back then. Our hopes and dreams laid out in front of us and all the time in the world to realize every one of them. I remember well when Wade took the time to teach me how to play the guitar and always encouraged me to practice...practice...practice so that he could have someone to accompany him as he played his fiddle. He may have had ulterior motives for teaching...

I had the great honor of taking fiddle lessons from
Wade. I have uploaded a video of him teaching a Louis Frankin long note part of Billy in the Lowground. He said it was one of his all-time favorite Texas fiddle pieces. It's so good it'll make ya shiver.

Melinda, words fall short but know my families prayers are with you during this difficult time. Lean on God for He will bring comfort and peace to you and the family.

Love, Marlene and family
