Not sure what to say?

I had a hard time adjusting to college at WMU. Dr. Baskerville counseled me. He was always so patient and kind. I remember him telling me he was a friend. That made me cry. I saw some of his sculpting. I was so impressed with him. Today I thought about him and looked on the internet for him. I was sad to find that he had recently passed. He was really an amazing person. To all his family, my condolences. I will never forget him. Part of him will always be with me.

Walden Baskerville-You and your family lived up the street (Maple Ave.) from me for many years. I went to school with Judd and Jinx (closest to my age). I always remembered your family as being so kind to others and always willing to help others. Billie (Townley) Blake.

Dear Baskerville Family:
My very happy memories of you all go way back to the late 60's and early 70's. Do you remember coming to Indian Lake with your Dad to go fishing and swimming with me and my brothers?
Walden and my Dad were very best friends in those days, and worked together at Kalamazoo Central.
After all this time, I still hold these memories close and feel blessed to have known Walden.
I am thinking about you all.

Lynn, I am so very sorry to learn of Dr. Baskerville's passing. I loved working with him at the Counseling Center prior to his retirement. He was a WONDERFUL man, always willing to see students even when his schedule was already full for the day. He was truly a gem! My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Hugs to you.....

Jill, I am sorry for you loss. I am Daniel T. Archuleta,B.S.N, R.N., and I worked with you in Correctins.

I have nver forgotten "Mr. Baskerville" since he was one of my teachers in the mid-1950s at Lincoln School. He made quite an impact on me and has touched the lives of so, so many. What a remarkable man.

I offer my deepest sympathy to Lynn and all the Baskerville family. Walden distinguished himself in so many ways and always with a deep sense of modesty. As a former colleague I will treasure memories of his rich voice, wonderful laugh and that great smile which could always light up any room!
