Walker gave me my first job in the alarm industry. Thanks to him I´ve enjoyed 50 years in the business. I knew Ann and all three girls. My deepest condolences to Ashley, Pierce and Taylor. Respectfully, Jim

Walker (and Ann) exhibited the finest example of Christian hospitality, fellowship, and public-spiritedness I have experienced in Memphis. They are missed greatly.

Dearest Ones, My heart is deeply touched as you walk through this difficulty. What a beautiful legacy you have to hold onto. My parents, Eva and Sam Carter, took Walker to the zoo in Memphis for their first date! There are so many precious stories I have heard all of my life and remember Tick and Aylmarie very well. You noted Walker´s pranks which he assuredly inherited from his father. Tick put his nitroglycerin pill into Aylmarie´s coffee at a family gathering in their home. Sam comforted...

Walker and Ann were among our first, and best, friends in Memphis. We shared our lives together at church, in the community, and in our homes. Both were delightful companions, and there were always smiles on our faces when we were together. Walker loved Ann with his whole heart and soul, and has missed her terribly. I think he will be delighted to be reunited in a better world with her.

Walker will continued to be etched in my mind as a " gentle Man" with a smile that not only was warming, but contagious. His zest for life and his unselfish Commitment to help make other´s lives more meaningful And successful. The love he had for his family; how proud he was of each and every one of them. What Walker has left behind; as Ann also did, will continue to give each of you the strength; courage; and comfort in the days ahead. Please know how much I care. Love you all!
