Not sure what to say?

I have known Wally since the early 1970's, and enjoyed talking to him and his wife Sarah. He was very active on Penfield, where we lived at that time.
Both of us were in the military in 1953, but we mostly talked about skiing. Sarah and I grew up in Newark, NY, and went to the same schools. Many residents of Penfield have been touched by his business at the four corners.
Sorry to be so late with my comments, but living in New Jersey, we only just became aware of...

Peace be with you Wally

They have the still North in their soul,
The hill winds in their breath,
And the granite of New Hampshire
Is made part of them til death.

Dear Old Dartmouth

Wally and I first met 40 years ago, through the Rotary Group Study Exchange. I delivered Norwegian Exchange member Magnus Blix from my Sodus Rotary Club to Wally, to be hosted by the Penfield Rotary Club. We made the exchange at Ozzie's Restaurant, my introduction to Penfield cuisine. I transferred to Penfield Rotary four years later.

Thanks for so many great memories. I wonder how many are lucky enough to remember the delicious tomato and mayonnaise sandwiches at the cottage alongside the second hole at Sodus Bay. A word of advise, Wally. Do not try out for the choir up there.

We met Wally about 30 years ago first as a client and then as a friend. We will miss his phone calls and getting together on his trips to Hilton Head. Our condolences to his family and to Eileen. Doris and Thornton Rice

He was such a nice man. I met him when I was practically a kid, looking for attorneys willing to do occasional pro-bono work for a local non-profit. I will always think of the little building at the Four Corners as his office. My condolences to his family.

Thank you for your friendship and all the business you took care of.
Sincerely the Gerard Hahn Family

In 1994 I met Wallie at a Penfield Business Association meeting. We became friends and he encouraged me to join the Penfield ROTARY Club, which I did. Why else would adult men participate in the annual Penfield Rotary show and put on wigs and makeup and dance at Mercy High School- to raise money for Camp Hackamo..( a camp for handicapped kids).. and because Wallie would ask you to.

I spent much time with Wallie. Wallie was always cheerful and he was always inviting me and other...
