I met Wallay about a year ago, a fine man with lots of stories of his time in service to our country.
This also marks a sad time in Rochester's history with another Rochester WWII Veteran passing.
I salute you Wally!

I`m going to miss Wally greatly. I enjoyed the conversations we used to have of his time in the Army during WW2, and of his exploits before coming to Rochester. Not too many men like him anymore.
God speed, Wally. I hope there`s a Checker's Pub in heaven.
