My deepest sympathy to all of Dr. Cook's family. I worked for him in the Regional Medical-Legal Department from the mid-70's until his retirement. Beyond his surgical skill, Dr. Cook was a nuanced diplomat and politician within TPMG and KFH. I learned a great deal from him, and we enjoyed a warm working relationship. His devotion to his family was also obvious, and much admired by all who knew him.
