WALLACE F. DUNCAN "Wally" Portage, Indiana Wallace F. Duncan, age 75, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2007. He was born on March 25, 1932 in Gary, IN to Frank and Hazel (Crow) Duncan, who preceded him in death on December 2, 1970. He married Martha C. (nee Tincher) Duncan. Wally proudly served his country in the United States Army and was also an Engle Scout. He worked at U.S. Steel in the Met Lab, retiring in 1994 with 37 years of service, was a member of the USWA Local No. 2695 and the M.L. McClelland Masonic Lodge No. 357 F.&A.M. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting and the outdoors. Wally enjoyed country line dancing and was a member of the Just Us and Friends Country Line Dance Group. Wally is survived by his wife, Martha (Tincher) Duncan of Portage, IN; sons: Wallace J. (Belle) Duncan of Inglis, FL, Charles D. Duncan of Beebe, AR, Brian M. (Shannon) Duncan of Chesterton, IN; daughters: Karin S. Duncan of Peoria, IL, Joyce K. Duncan of Ludlow, IL, and Kimberly M. (Jason) Bogue of Porter, IN; 8 grandchildren; 2 brothers: Kenneth (Mary) Duncan of Oak Lawn, IL and Robert Duncan of Mesa, AZ; as well as other loving family and dear friends. Visitation will be held Friday, July 13, 2007, 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home - Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage. Masonic service is Friday at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 14, 2007, 10 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home with Pastor Tim McGuire, officiating.
