Not sure what to say?

I'm so sorry to learn of Wally's passing. We are related, but I was never told how exactly. His Uncle who was his mentor, is no doubt part of my maternal grandfather's family. I think the only time I met him I was only about 3 or 4 years old, and I called him Wally Gator from the cartoon all those years ago. It's been 60 years, and I still remember his smile.

Wally was great guy always willing to chat! Always friendly and looking to make connections. Wally always had a funny story or a conspiracy to share and truly cared forever. Prayers to Mary. You will be greatly missed Wally.

Meeting him and Mary at my mother´s in Turners Falls. I grew up with Mary being my sister´s college friend and for the rest of my life Mary and Wally was family

I learned about Wally's passing on the morning of his funeral. My wife and I just completed a bike ride to Seymour Pond on the Cape. I relayed a story to her about "Mary and Wally" bobbing in the water together at that exact location some dozen years before. I guess the Lord prompted me to think of them because I wondered how they were doing and said a brief...

In loving memory of a wonderful Uncle. Dear Mary, Steven, Joshua and families: Our sincere condolences on Wally´s sudden passing. He will be missed but not forgotten. Love from Kevin and Amy Booth

Please let Mary, Steven and Josh Know that we are thinking of you and sending hugs. We just found out about his death. I loved your Dad. My heart is breaking for you all. We loved spending time with your Mom and Dad at camp. My Dad and my husband are probably having a fine reunion in heaven with your Dad. Love to you all. Corrine and the Stacey Family

Thank you for including us in family gatherings which gave us the opportunity to know dear Wally as a friend. How lucky were you to know him as Dad and Grandpa and loving husband? It was our pleasure to know Wally as an original broad and deep thinker - the wonderful opposite of so many"plain vanilla" folks! Cherish the wondeful times you had, the privilege of being his beloved family. Know we are thinking of you. With sincere sympathy. Linda and Lew

Josh and Zoraida, we are so saddened to hear about the passing of your Dad. The few times that we met him he seemed like a wonderful man. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your whole family.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Wally. My Condolences to your family
