Not sure what to say?

VERY SORRY TO HEAR SBOUT WALLY. I WAS ON WALLYS 1957-8 CROSS COUNTRY. WALLY WAS A GREAT LEADER

We were members with Wally and his young family of Holy Nativity Lutheran Church many years ago. Both of us fondly remember the good times we had in and out of church--we even share a wedding anniversary. Lori taught our kids in Sunday school. Sorry we lost touch over the years. Rest in peace, Wally. Rosetta and Al Pavlik

Sorry to hear about Wally. Condolences to the Guenther family. I knew the entire family from Calvary Lutheran Church, East Cleveland, Ohio. Played softball with Wally, Gary, Warren and my best friend, Tim.

Always had a smile and a joke whenever he came into the Headliner during his tenure at the Plain Dealer. A treasure of a human being and a delight to be around. My condolences to his family, especially his wife and sons. I would like to catch up with his family as I had lost touch with Wally many years ago. Rest in Peace Wally.

I am very sorry to hear about Wally´s passing. We were good friends during our years at The Plain Dealer and I have many good memories about the conversations we shared and about Cleveland sports. He always had enjoyable person to talk with and certainly will be will be missed. May God be with him.

Guenther Family: We are sorry for your loss. He spent many hours at ice rinks supporting his boys, always with a smile and looked great in a hat. Bob Whidden & family
