Wallace Ryan Guthrie

Ryan will be missed in the Promise Land neighborhood. I could always count on him to be sitting on his front porch across the street keeping an eye on everything. He and I shared a love for animals and he was always telling me stories about his animals and giving me advice about mine. He kept an eye on my cats when I was out of town. He was a gentle soul with a big heart.

Ryan, I knew you all of my life and loved having you and your family living across the street for all these years. Your love for your wife was so special. Wherever you would go, Tawny would be right with you letting everyone know she was there. Then you took in your little girl Mullet and she never looked so safe as when you held her in your hands. God has a special place in His kingdom for you my friend. Prayers for Shane and the family. Until we meet again.

Dear Shane,
We are shocked and saddened by the sudden death of Ryan.....we miss him already......he was a great neighbor....he was a sweet, kind, gentle soul.....always first in line to help with any project we were doing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
