Not sure what to say?

My father was the one that I looked up to and feared when I near needed to i respect him even to this day he gave me the love of art and the eyes for beautiful thing for beauty for beauty and all that my father is and all the artwork he ever did he gave me the courage when I have not the strength and I was weak the trust when I needed it it wasn't for my father if it wasn't for my father I would have never loved art in the first place he gave me the will and courage to speak up to Injustice...

I am Shelley Marie Hall and proud to be the daughter of Wally or Hall he dedicated his life to art and to the United States of America he did us proud in world War II and fought to keep us all safe by flying over the home I am proud that he made it cuz so many did not and I'm honored that I even knew him I hope one day that my children's drive to meet him in honor and be and make something of themselves like he did I am proud to be the daughter of all of your hall and I'm honored that he has...

My dearest Cousin Wally,
How I wish I could have shared these memories with you in person. Probably some of my earliest memories are of the times we used to play cowboys and Indians when you lived next door on Belmont St. You were decked out with a pair of pistols around your waist, a bandana around your neck and a cowboy's ten gallon hat on your head. My trusty steed was my tricycle and while I wore no hat, I had a bandana and pistols.

All of this regalia was very apropos for the...

Dear Eulaine, The friendship of both of you and Wally added something to our lives. He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him. My two years of knowing him was way to short for what we found in each other.Love to you.Louis and Jewel

I met him only twice,
But there was a greatness about him
That was apparent,
Even before I knew how he had lived,
And what he had accomplished.
Such courage and strength
Of my friend Eulaine,
And Wally, her love,
To live life free and to the fullest
Like we all would like to live
If we had that bold spirit.
Wally's life will bring memories,
And they will be good
To those who knew him long.
For me it will be a wish
That I had known him...

Eulaine and Family,
Please accept our condolences on your loss of Wally. We are honored that you have chosen For the Love of the Lake at White Rock Lake as one of the places for Wally's memorial gifts.

I had no idea that he was such a prolific painter of trees; how fitting that he will be memorialized in The Celebration Tree Grove at the lake that meant so much to him.

Eulaine, yours and Wally's is an immortal love story. Though I knew him only a short time I felt respect and great fondness for the two of you. We give our sympathy and support always and especially as you prepare to celebrate Wally's precious life.

Dear Eulaine, Steve, and Wally's family...

My mother, Mary Albright, sent Wally's obituary to me over here in Germany and I was simply amazed to read all the wonderful things that Wally had done over the years.

I will always remember VERY FONDLY the great times I had over at your Lakewood house on those warm Dallas evenings in the '70s--from Wally's gift to me of an original Dave Brubeck LP (that I still have and listen to and cherish) to the excitement of the Sting Ray...

Unc, you are free to fly once more. I love you, Sandy
