Not sure what to say?

Wally and Trapper,
Though I am no longer there, I cannot imagine the Oak Grove Hotel or the world without you. Wally, you made living there a wonderful thing and I always looked forward to your daily greeting and update on the biking mileage. I remember fondly, when you were the "doorman" for my art sale and all the crazy bicycle clutter in your tiny apartment that made it difficult for you to open the door when I brought you soup. I swear, I will think of you every time I pass by our...

Having met Wally only once, my relationship with him was vicarious. My daughter Joy spoke of him every time we met together because Wally was an important part of her life and a good friend. Loss, grief and pain are woven into my Joy’s life once again because Wally is gone.

“… but for the joy set before Him…" (Heb 12:2)

My sympathies to all who knew and loved Wally Hanson,

They say it takes a village to raise a child and I am honored to have had Wally as a part of my village, teaching me quietly in every meeting. I love him and miss him, but know that we will be together again some day.

Wally, You were such a good looking guy, & with a great disposition. God Bless your soul. Give Trappy a pat for me.

I will always remember your smile and great conversations.
Will miss you greatly
