Not sure what to say?

Dear Bev and family,

Jean and I are so sorry to hear of Wally's passing. I know he was a wonderful husband, and a wonderful father to David, Jack, and Wayne.

I have only the fondest memories of all the great times I had with Wally during our high school years.

Unfortunately we were out of town and did not learn of the memorial service in time to attend. I certainly would have liked to share some young Wally "Wallyism's" with your family and...

Beverly and boys,
Our condolences to all of you from Mary Beth and I. We were out of the country when we received the news and it was quite a shock to both of us. We wish we could have been there for the celebration of Wally's life (what a life it was)always a mile a minute, but he would always make time for mentoring or just to talk about life in general. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Bev and the boys, how shocked and saddened I was to learn today of Wally's passing. He and I were playmates before we started Brookside Elementary, and we remained friends through high school and lived in the same fraternity house as chemistry students at the U. I remember he proudly shared some of his many chemical inventions with me when I visited his lab in the Twin Cities. I share in your sadness at his sudden passing, and want you to know many people besides me thought he was one of...

Dear Hlavac family,

I've worked with Wally as a client for the past 18 years. I considered him a mentor and a friend. Whenever we discussed our industry, we would, without fail end up talking about fishing and the great outdoors.

His ever present kindness and diplomacy will be held in the highest regard. Wally was always looking for a win/win business perspective - all with humor and a great, down-to-earth personality.

I will miss his kind, kind...

Bev and Boys,
How sorry we are to hear of Wally's passing. You all have been such great friends to us all over the years.
It is with fondness that I will remember Wally and the "fish stories" we all shared in the magical place of Farm Lake.
Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Bev, Mike and I would like to offer our sincere condolences to you and your family.

I was saddened to hear the news about Wally from our Minneapolis office. Before transferring to Grant Thornton's National Tax Office in D.C., I had been the tax advisor for Tiro as well as both Wally and Bob. Even though Wally was a client, I admired him more as a deep, caring individual who would always share his laughter. Wally, you will continue to be missed.

Beverly and boys,

It goes without saying that I was stunned by the news Bob delivered last week about Wally's passing. Wally was a wonderful individual that I grew very fond of during the years I have worked with Bob and Wally through the neverending cycles of their business. Through it all, Wally never failed to be kind, friendly, and filled with a genuine honesty and integrity. Any time Wally saw the glass as half empty, he always looked at that glass with a smile and great...
