Wally, I do not remember ever seeing you angry; and your smile, wit and demeanour could defuse virtually any tense moment. Memories of schooldays, football, the beach and your sense of humour will never leave me.
I am so happy that we renewed our boyhood friendship when we were both in Barbados in 2012 when I visited "Gran", thanks to Greg Rollins.
My heartfelt sympathies to Wally's Wife, and immediate and extended family. May you be comforted by the memories.
