Not sure what to say?

Fond memories of a great man. He was my boss´s boss. Knew his relatives. Lots of laughs. Remember hiding his son´s clothes with a family cousin, while he was out doing yard maintenance at the facility. Fun times, Little Wally.

I'm so sorry I didn't see this notice sooner so I could express my condolences to Mr. Solberg's entire family, friends & colleagues. He will always hold the most special place in my heart. I was his secretary at Northrop from 1971-1972 & will simply never forget the support & respect he showed me during that short year. I worked under Wally for over 17 years at NORTHROP GRUMMAN CORP. As our president he carried the ESD Division to great Heights through his vision and focus on mission. He was well known for his strong focus on quality, customer satisfaction, and exceeding expectations.
Most imressive of all was his belief that people were the strength of any organization. As my responsibility being employment, he insisted on hiring the best. Treating them fairly and honestly, rewarding excellence and...

We are very sorry to hear of your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that God collects our tears and is ready to comfort us in our moment of need - Psalm 56:8.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

My sincere condolences to Wally's family. He was my friend and boss at Northrop prior to his retirement. We spent many hours together and his love of family was always foremost in our conversations. He was not just my boss but a valued mentor and friend. His counsel and advice remain fresh in my mind to this day. May God's peace be with all his family today.

Our sincere sympathies go out to all in the
Wally Solberg family.Wally was much more than a brilliant executive but more importantly
a good human being that made all of us be proud to work for and with him.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
