I first met Dr. Wilcox as a medical student at Emory, and later served as one of his faculty members in the Division of General Pediatrics. I will always remember his warm and welcoming spirit, his bow ties, and the time I found him changing my daughter's poopy diaper when I stepped out for a minute. I also have to thank Dr. Wilcox for getting me involved as a volunteer question writer for the American Board of Pediatrics, an organization that I have now been involved with for 24 years. I...

What a very impressive man! We know for sure his sister Dixie adored him! Rest in Peace Dean! Nick and Linda Cladis

Sincere condolences to the Wilcox family. I grew up with Mary Kay and Dean, and attended their wedding in 1957. They were a wonderful couple. At one of our class reunions (1955 BHS), I was lucky enough to win one of Dean´s beautiful water colors. It´s the first thing you see when you enter my home in Danville, California. A treasure - like Mary Kay and Dean. Susan Cummins Tidyman

from the family of Jim & MaryAnn Canan--Dean and MaryKay were some of my parents longest best friends. I think they originally met when Dean was working on the Navajo reservation. And he was our family pediatrician in Blgs. Our parents passed in 2009 & 2020 but my mom kept in touch with them frequently in her last years. They were a delight to visit with and left a legacy of memories. We are sorry for your loss.

Everyone who knew Dean must feel a void because of his passing, but, oh, how blessed we were to have had him in our lives. What a great man!

So sorry to learn of my cousin's passing. I have always admired him. A real credit to his profession and an all around great guy. RIP Dean.

The best brother a sister could ever have. A void which can never be filled. Love you Dean Dixie

Sad news of Dean´s passing. Dean and Mary Kay were good friends and were missed when they left Billings. Sending hugs, love and prayers to their family. .
