Not sure what to say?

Wally, I admired your intelligence and sense of humor. Thanks for turning me onto Willy and Merle. My warmest condolences to family and friends.

My heartfelt condolences go out to all of Wally's family and friends. I was lucky to share my fraternity experience with Wally, whom I considered to epitomize the best of Tacoma's young men. Wally was fun-loving, intelligent and loyal. It was always a pleasure to be in his company. He is greatly missed by me and so many. I send my love and appreciation to his family for I shall always have his wonderful memory to appreciate.

We were shocked to hear of Wally's death. He was a wonderful person. A great friend of my dad, Wally Meyer and a great fishing buddy for my dad and husband. You are in our thoughts

I had been a Realtor for 6 months in October of 1981 when my parents decided to put their 2 bedroom home in Fircrest on the market. I new the home was over priced @ $69,950 but lost the battle for a lower price. Wally brought a buyer and she was willing to pay $68,000! I spoke with Wally and he knew the difficult road ahead and agreed to meet the appraiser for me. Even the appraiser said "I don't know how I'll ever comp this one". Wally just told him to go thru and then sit in the back...

I've known Wally since I started my RE career in 1986, and had the pleasure to work for him at Windermere from 1990-2000. I always considered him a true professional, and the most knowledgeable agent/broker I'd ever met. His easy going demeanor, and concern for his agents, made him a joy to work for. Even when a transaction seemed on the verge of collapse, he always new what to say, suggested viable solutions, and they almost ALWAYS worked!!
You were a joy to know and will be terribly...

Teri and Quinn: My thoughts and prayers are with you both. I was blessed to have started my real estate career under the supervision of Wally. I learned so much and he inspired me beyond belief. He brought me up when I was down and celebrated my successess right beside me. I always knew where to go for advice. I will miss him. Please call me if there is anything I can do for you.

So many good thoughts about Wally and thankfully they will always be with us. Wally grew up in a generous and loving family and certainly excelled with those traits in his life. I am sure all who knew him feel blessed for the opportunity. Wally you will be missed often as the memories make us smile.

Teri and Quinn: It was with great sadness that we learned of Wally's passing. He was always smiling, and his diplomacy when we drafted him to be the President of the Day Island Club will not be forgotten. Although not everyone wanted to decommision our old well and hook up to Tacoma water, Wally was able to adeptly handle the dissenters. It was a pleasure to watch his considerable skills in action, and an honor to work with him. He will be missed . . . Take care.
