Not sure what to say?

My condolences. Walt will be greatly missed.

Julie, Eric and Nicole. I was shocked and saddened to hear of your loss. I considered Walt a true friend since I first met him as my IR Chief in Germany. I will always remember the general work atmosphere, our ski trips, golf outings and get togethers at Kelly Bks and afterwards in the States. Walt was liked by everyone and just a pleasant person to be around. He will surely be missed and our thoughts and prayers are with you guys.

The entire National Guard Internal Review community expresses our condolences to the Morrison family. Walt is revered and will always be remembered well within our community. We share your loss. I can only hope that you and Walt realize the positive impact Walt's life and work had and will continue to have. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sincerely,

Derrick Miller
Chief, NGB - IR

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I had a chance to work with Walt when he was at NGB IR. KY IR will miss him. Very dedicated employee.

Dear Julie, Erik and Nicole,
I am so sorry for your lose of Walt. He was a good friend through our years at St. Vincent College. We played intramural flag football and basketball (Soul Survivors) rather well thanks to Walt's contributions. We had great times watching the Bearcats basketball games and just chatting in the dorm rooms. Bob Daignault and I watched part of the first Super Bowl game with Walt at his parents' home on our way back to school from a trip to Uniontown. Walt took us...

Julie and family, You are in my prayers. Walt and I started government service together back in 1969 with the Army Audit Agency as interns. I am so happy and lucky to have Walt as a friend in my life. It is hard to deal with his loss but we all must carry on and remember the person that he was and how he touched each and every one of us who had the pleasure to know him. God Bless Him and may he rest in Peace. Some day, i hope to join my friend again and maybe play a round of golf in Heaven...

My sincere condolences to the family of Walt Morrison. Walt hired me into the Army Internal Review program in 1979. He was not only my colleague for many years but one of my mentors as well. During his illness I felt very fortunate to communicate with Walt on occasion. We brought our spirtual lives in order based on our common faith. Human Life is a terminal condition but eternal life is forever. We will meet again...

My deepest sympathy on your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Walt when he became the NGB-IR director. Walt was a special person who always thought of people first and we in the IR community knew we could always count on him to look out for what was best for us.

Dear Julie and family, our deepest sympathy. I met Walt in Sept '65 when we roomed next door to each other at St Vincent College. We became good friends from day one and over the years we always talked about our first intramural "flag" football game versus "The Bunnies", a group of frustrated seniors still on football scholarships but whose dream of playing collegiate football ended when SVC dropped football as a varsity sport in 1963. Our group of freshman with me as QB and Walt as a lineman...
