I met WT in a creative writing class in high school, Duckberg as he referred to it. We bared our souls to each other with written exchanges over two years time and than lost touch. He was brilliantly creative and I am saddened that his life was cut short.

I knew Walt in college -- he went to Univ. of Detroit with my older brother, and I went to Wayne State. Based on a brief audition, Walt gave me a chance to sing lead for a few Lobsters Gorilla gigs in southeast Michigan...A great experience for which I will always be grateful to Walt. He is in our prayers, and I'm sure we will meet again in the hereafter.
