Not sure what to say?

our last visit together

As so many of the entries have said, how much you are missed. Gene, Kelly, Andrew and Annie join me in saying we have superb memories of being with you and Anne over the years; and gratefully, your art is pictured on many of our doors and walls. As Anne's sister, you were so welcoming to me every summer for a week while Anne and I went to the river and played. But our favorite time was at the end of the day when we would regather for good conversation around the dinner table-outside or in,...

I miss morning coffee looking and discussing birds and critters, hanging out in your shop going over projects and ideas and working together on a few. Miss stories of past experiences and joking around.
What a wonderful friend you were.

WALT, I will always cherish our conversations re: dutch oven cooking, flying off the carriers in the Pacific, bond fires after Page's brandings, and, of course, having dinner with you and Ann at the Ahwahanee. Thank you so much for the memories.

Always a pro with word, smile, and sketch pen - irreplaceable!

Walt was always a connection for me to my Family History in Marin Co and in Santa Monica. He knew my namesake quite well(my Uncle Sam ) and would tell me stories about them growing up. Of course he knew my Dad as did Page, but Sam and Walt were close. I will miss Walt! Sam Jones( Santa Rosa,Ca.)

We really enjoyed riding with you on the trails. You were a superb horseman, and a wonderful companion. We'll miss you badly on the Frontier Boys ride.

Walt, as John Ducato says, it's only for a while. Then we will again ride, laugh, and reminisce in the warmth of another late night campfire.

Walt, Anne, Page, Page and Grant

Thank you Uncle Wow for all of the cherished memories you have given Page, Page, Grant and myself. One of my favorite was Grant trying to wake up earlier then you so he could wake you...you lay still under the covers for the right moment to give him the scare of his life! Our hearts are heavy and you will be missed deeply by us all.

Working with cameras on the track at Santa Anita in about 1975, while Dad and Char, along Barnie and Dorothy White, sat in the stands, is a cherished memory. I will forever enjoy all of the western adventures from your hand on my wall. Adieu, dear cuz.
