Not sure what to say?

Walt was the backbone of our football team. Sometimes the hardest I would get hit all night in a game was when Walt would go around slapping everyone on the back to get us fired up. He was one of a kind with a heart of gold.

I worked with my dear friend Shirley for many years, we shared our family stories so much that I felt like I knew Walt and the rest of the family very well. Walt and Shirley were a great couple. He made a great margarita too! Thoughts and prayers to the whole family.

Walt was a good man who took many kids under his wing. His generosity and compassion will be unmatched. He will be missed.

Walt and Shirley Ballinger were truly fixtures in the Loveland community. I remember them dancing along with my parents at the Elks and what fun time they had.The respect for the Ballinger family and especially Walt, and his wonderful contributions with wrestling and the fire department.... what a guy, what a guy!. God bless his children and know that we hold them in our hearts and prayers.

Ballinger Family: We were always amazed at the "open house" concept at the Ballinger's. Everyone was welcome and a good time was had by all. Godspeed Walt. You will be missed by your many friends.

I am so sorry for your loss.
With great sympathy-

We were so sorry to learn of Walt's death. He was my mother's favorite mail carrier. Also enjoyed seeing Walt at our H.S. reunions. May God's love be with all his family.

The large attendance was such a wonderful tribute to an amazing man. The walk from the church to the cemetary-looked like 200+ making a pilgramage for their fallen hero. Uncle Walt left us with such great standards of how to live our lives!

Dear Scott and family, we're so sorry for your loss. Tom really loved your Dad a lot and thought so much of him. All our thoughts and prayers to all of your family. Love, Tom, Becky, and Zach Ceravolo
