Not sure what to say?

I was saaddened to see that Walter had died. Joy,I remember Walter's quiet presence when you would host Exceptional Equitation feasts at your home. I must admit it is rare that I know as many members of a family and for so many different reasons as yours. You are all held in prayer.

Dear Joy:
Losing Walter from this world saddens me enormously; thinking of him brings to mind all the happy hunting times of several decades past. We beaglers now will have a beloved hunting companion, our field master of old, with us always in spirit when we move afoot in Ky. chasing hounds and quarry.
May you, your wonderful children, and all we friends of Walter's have, in in God's good time, grief replaced by fond and loving memories.
Nate

Mr. Bennett touched all of our lives and we shall all hold fond memories of him. He reached out to people of all walks of life with his compassion. He makes my life fuller for having known him.

We have fond memories of Walter on many Sunday afternoons.

Camille and I will never forget our debt to Joy and Walter for making us feel so at home, and introducing us to so many of the wonderful friends we have now, when we moved to Louisville in 1986. I will always remember Walter in the field, on a crisp fall afternoon with the hounds echoing in the distance, talking about some issue of the day or a new book he had just read that had captured his imagination. His warm heart, his intellect, his humor and his generosity will be greatly missed.

Dave and I have so many wonderful memories of chats with Walter while he was still able to be an active member of the Hunt. He was such a charming gentlemen and will be greatly missed by us. Jeri and Dave

Ned and I are both in Montana so will not be able to attend Walter's funeral. We both had great affection for Walter. He was a gentle, kind and lovely person. We will miss him and send our love and sympathy to Joy and her children.

Joy, and family, was so sorry to learn of Mr. Bennett's death via an email today from another GE retiree. Wish I were there to pay my respects, but know my love and prayers are with all of you. Maggie (Lewis) Michaud
