It was my pleasure to know Walter and his family throughout the years. Walter was always a friendly and social person with a positive and happy presence. I still remember the night he and Annemarie welcomed my wife and I to their home in S.C. and what a lovely evening it was. Annemarie, My sincere condolences on the passing of Walter. It was my pleasure to have served with Walt in both the Mountainside PD and the Union County Prosecutor's Office. Walt was truly one of a kind and I know your heart is broken after all these years together but know he is with the lord and at peace. Rest in peace brother
