Walter Mae "Wally" Blackwell

Mrs. Blackwell was my kindergarten teacher in Oak Valley many many years ago. What a wonderful lady she was. She will forever be in my memories. Laura L. (AZ)

Hi Linda...At this sad time in your life may you find peace and happiness in the many memories of such a loving mother and friend. Wally and I taught together at Oak Valley for a short time, but in that brief period I learned to love and respect her--such kindness and that constant smile said it all. I knew her as a woman of faith, so she is resting in peace surrounded by the Greatest Love.

Mrs Blackwell was my kindergarted teacher in Oak Valley and I will always remember her and how sweet she was.

Sorry to hear of Wally's passing. I taught 2nd grade with her at Oak Valley for 4 years and always considered her the epitome of southern grace. May she rest in peace.

Mrs. Blackwell was the best teacher anyone could ask for. I am very sure she will be remembered always. I am happy to say she taught 3 generations of my family, so they too had a great school experience.

Even after all these years I have fond memories of your mother and each of the Blackwells. Life on Myrtle Avenue was idyllic. Your career was a tribute to your mother's. I am sure she was proud of both you and Dan.
